大肠恶性肿瘤起源于粘膜上皮或粘膜下间叶组织。其中由粘膜上皮发生的恶性肿瘤统称为大肠癌，为胃肠道最常见的恶性肿瘤。起源于间叶组织者称为肉瘤，约占大肠恶 性病 变的1%，以恶性淋巴瘤为主，少见的还有平滑肌肉瘤、纤维肉瘤、血管肉瘤等。
