复合污染（combined pollution ）多种污染物同时存在，并共同对大气、水体、土壤、生物和人体产生综合性的污染现象。如硫氧化物、氮氧化物、碳氢化合物、氧化剂、一氧化碳、颗粒物等大气污染物，以二氧化硫为主的各种污染物分别对人体、动植物、材料、建筑物等产生危害(即产生环境效应和生态效应)；同时污染物以各种化学状态存在或相互作用，而造成对环境与生态的综合影响(如光化学烟雾)，使大气污染更为复杂而加重其危害程度。实际环境污染多数属此类污染。
