堵位（cut Off） 水球个人防守技术之一。指防守者运用身体阻挡进攻者 切入的去路。当进攻者从防守者右侧切入时，防守者两手臂张 开，两腿向左侧蹬水，使整个身体向右侧移动，从而挡住进攻 者的切入路线。如进攻者突然转向左侧切入时，防守者应立即 用左手向右划水，右手从左侧甩过去，同时整个身体跟上，臀 部抬起，两腿准备蹬出，用身体堵住进攻者去路。
区域联防防守效果相对较差，漏人失分较多，缺乏对无球队员跑动的盯防，挡位、抢位、堵位意识反映不够迅速。
