地貌即地球表面各种形态的总称，也能称为地形。地表形态是多种多样的，成因也不尽相同，是内、外力地质作用对地壳综合作用的结果。内力地质作用造成了地表的起伏，控制了海陆分布的轮廊及山地、高原、盆地和平原的地域配置，决定了地貌的构造格架。而外营力（流水、风力、太阳辐射能、大气和生物的生长和活动）地质作用，通过多种方式，对地壳表层物质不断进行风化、剥蚀、搬运和堆积，从而形成了现代地面的各种形态。
