土桩是指挤密成孔后分层夯填素土形成的桩体。用于地基加固。适用于地下水位以上的湿陷性黄土、新堆积黄土、素填土和杂填土。桩径一般为300～ 600mm；桩距要使桩间土挤密后的最小干密度不小于1.5吨每立方米；桩长取决于建筑物对地基的要求、地基湿陷类型和等级、湿陷性土层厚度及成孔机械，可达12～15m。成孔多用沉管、冲击或爆扩等方法，使土向孔周围挤密，孔底要夯实。
