四倍体刺槐,属刺槐多倍体新品种,近年来引进我国。目前已引种栽培5个系号,分速生用材型和饲料型两个类型。四倍体刺槐较普通刺槐具有更强的适应性,耐干旱瘠薄,耐烟尘、盐碱能力强,成林快,是水土保持、防风固沙、退耕还林的好树种。它单位面积生物含量高,其叶子营养丰富,是优良的畜牧业饲料。四倍体刺槐的社会价值和经济价值仅次于泓森槐。
