味觉感受器是生物体感受器的一种，构成味觉感受器的基本结构味蕾由30~80个各种不同类型的细胞组成,多数在其一端有微绒毛,这种细胞呈长梭形，微绒毛端伸出到味蕾的开口部(味孔)。细胞的底部附近有传入神经末梢两者形成突触式联系。感受性细胞总称味细胞,可分3类。最主要的是Ⅱ型细胞，这种细胞的底部附近有神经末梢聚集，突触联系也较多。第2种是Ⅰ型细胞，可能是一种支持细胞。第3种细胞较少味蕾的味孔内常有一种粘液性物质，覆盖在味细胞的微绒毛端。
然后是味觉感受器，最后是嗅觉，当我们吸气时就被激活。
