吸附速度是指单位时间内单位重量的吸附剂所吸附的量。是衡量吸附处理过程中吸附效果的主要指标之一。吸附速度越快，则达到吸附平衡的时间越短，吸附设备越小。吸附速度主要由吸附质颗粒的外部扩散(膜扩散)速度和内部扩散速度来控制，与吸附剂和吸附质的颗粒大小、表面积、结构有关，也与溶液的搅动程度、温度等因素有关。
