司狱为中国明清两朝代，提拿控管狱囚的职官。两朝间，司狱官品迭有变更，不过一般来说，在中央京城负责留守节镇的司狱，如：刑部司狱、按察使司狱等等为正八品职。而地方行政单位之知府司狱、同知司狱等则为正九品职。

But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.
如果他有一点点不甘心的表示，司狱也绝不会这样信任他了。
If he had, the prison-keeper would never have trusted him so.
