反常呼吸（paradoxical respiration） 反常呼吸运动是一种病理的呼吸运动，是胸部外伤后至胸部多根多处肋骨骨折，使胸壁失去完整肋骨支撑而软化所致，正常人在吸气时胸廓抬起，呼气时胸壁下降;反常呼吸运动正好相反，在吸气时胸廓下降，呼气时胸壁抬起。 在胸外伤时，多处多根肋骨骨折时，胸廓的完整性遭到破坏，导致胸部伤处软组织失去胸廓的支撑，出现反常呼吸，即随呼气外凸，吸气时凹陷，又被称为连枷胸（flail chest）。
