“双向问询表”来源于国外企业。“双向问询表”在我国的一部分企业中开始应用，主要用于企业采购中与供方的双向沟通。当一些外国企业来中国采购产品时，他们要求中方企业必须使用“双向问询表”进行书面的供需信息沟通。因而“双向问询表”的作用还仅限于供需双方的信息沟通。但其作用不仅如此，在企业其他管理中也有非常好的作用，例如在企业产品设计与开发管理、产品质量管理等等都可以发挥重要的作用。
