南昌话，是一种赣语方言，属于赣语昌都片，也是赣语中具有代表性的一支。 狭义的南昌话只局限在南昌市区。广义上的南昌话则被称为赣语昌都片（包括通行于南昌市区、南昌县、新建、安义；九江市永修、德安、星子、都昌、湖口、彭泽、修水、共青城；宜春市高安、奉新、靖安以及铜鼓的部分地区；景德镇市区；湖南平江县一带）。 八十年代以后，赣语受到北方官话的冲击越来越大，以致现如今年轻一代有一部分人已经不能使用纯正的赣语，甚至不再会使用赣语。
以南昌话为代表，通行于中国的江西省和湖北省东南一带。
