华阳古镇始于秦晋，是历史上有名的古道驿站（傥骆古道），古军事要冲，古经济政治重镇。古镇内明清建筑保存较为完好，古华阳县县城墙残垣轮廓尚在，宋元时期的华阳镇古塔和古戏楼风格独特，文武官员衙门，客栈，当铺，酒楼，茶楼等铺板门一条街600多米300余间为主体的明清建筑群至今保存完好。是深山中罕见的明清时期古镇风貌。
Finally,combined with the status quo of the town,history,scientific and artistic values of Huayang ancient town were evaluated comprehensive in the thesis. Some recommendations about transformation, planning and development which given by author on Huayang were narrated at finality.
