劳史(1655～1713)，字麟书，学者称馀山先生，今周巷镇劳家村人。世为农，少就私塾读书，长大后力耕以养父母，夜则披卷诵读。十七岁时，读朱熹《大学》、《中庸》序，慨然发愤以道自任，举动亦必依于礼。又多次阅读《近思录》，认为“吾师在是矣”。康熙五十二年(1713年)正月，劳史卒于家，年59岁。著有《馀山先生遗书》10卷，为弟子桑调元所刻，今存。
