水土保持上一种通过降低坡度防止不稳定坡面发生滑坡等重力侵蚀的沟坡防护工程。 削坡（scaling）主要用于防止中小规模的土质滑坡和岩质斜坡崩塌。削坡可减缓坡度，减小滑坡体体积，减少下滑力。削坡的对象是滑动部分，当高而陡的岩质斜坡受节理缝隙切割，比较破碎，有可能崩塌坠石时，可剥除危岩，削缓坡顶部。
