刺藤，是豆科合欢属下的植物，攀援灌木或藤本，产广东、广西、福建。生于旷野或山地疏林中，常攀附于树上。越南、老挝、柬埔寨亦有分布。 刺藤长约20余米；幼枝稍被柔毛，在叶柄下常有1枚下弯的粗短刺。托叶小，脱落。花期4-7月；果期8-11月。
