减径机，包括至少两个以上沿钢管轧制方向排列的机架与轧辊、及传动装置；其特点是机架坐落在基础导轨上，并用螺栓、螺母将机架固定在基础导轨之上，机架与机架之间使用连接装置预紧联接，并使各个机架连接在一起。每个机架内有三个轧辊，每个轧辊通过伸出的轴或套与传动装置相连。去掉了十分庞大的、重量超重的机座，减小了设备的体积，克服了现有机械加工设备难以加工的困难，节省了制造加工费用。具有结构简单紧凑，易调整和定位，安装方便，使用可靠等优点。
