冷高压，气象术语，按照静力学关系，冷高压的强度随高度减弱，到高空则转为冷低压。所以，它是一种比较浅薄的天气系统，平均厚度不超过3km。 冷高压常出现在高空槽的后下方，由于槽后的质量辐合，可使其下面的高压得以维持和加强，并受高空气流的引导而移动。在槽后西北气流的引导下，使整个高压系统南下，或分裂成几个高压而南下，其中强的高压南下可形成一次寒潮过程。
