鲉形目(Scorpaeniformes)六线鱼科(Hexagrammidae)一些海产鱼类的统称。特征是︰鳞细小，背鳍长，腭牙强。体长一般不超过45或46公(18吋)。肉食性，并有食用价值。分布于北太平洋，种类中有单鳍多线鱼(Pleurogrammus monopterygius)，体黑、黄色，具条带，为食用及游钓对象；蛇鱈(Ophiodon elongatus)为似鱈的加利福尼亚种；六线鱼(Hexagrammos otakii)是日本的普通食用鱼。
