秦、汉皇帝的印玺。《后汉书·光武纪》建武三年注引蔡邕《独断》：“皇帝六玺，皆玉螭虎纽，文曰‘皇帝行玺’、‘皇帝之玺’、‘皇帝信玺’、‘天子行玺’、‘天子之玺’、‘天子信玺’，皆以武都紫泥封之。”又有传国玺，合称为七玺（一说传国玺不存在或为六玺总称）。参阅《宋书·礼志》五。
