光学图像又称模拟图像(analog images)，是指灰度和颜色连续变化的图像。通常，光学图像是采用光学摄影系统获取的以感光胶片为介质的图像。例如，航空遥感获取的可见光黑白全色像片、彩色红外像片、多波段摄影像片和热红外摄影像片，都属于光学图像。
