催告权是指第三人告知被代理人或者限制民事行为能力人的法定代理人在一定期限内就是否行使追认权予以明确答复的权利。催告权属于请求权的一种。合同法第47条第2款规定：相对人可以催告法定代理人在一个月内予以追认。第48条第2款规定：相对人可以催告被代理人在一个月内予以追认。
在效力待定合同制度中，法律赋予相关第三人以承认权，赋予相对人以催告权和撤回权。承认只能向合同的相对人行使。
