在塑料配混中，改善合成树脂与无机填充剂或增强材料的界面性能的一种塑料添加剂。又称表面改性剂。它在塑料加工过程中可降低合成树脂熔体的粘度，改善填充剂的分散度以提高加工性能，进而使制品获得良好的表面质量及机械、热和电性能。 其用量一般为填充剂用量的0.5～2%。偶联剂一般由两部分组成：一部分是亲无机基团，可与无机填充剂或增强材料作用；另一部分是亲有机基团，可与合成树脂作用。
