信用标准是指公司决定授予客户信用所要求的最低标准，代表公司愿意承担的最大的付款风险的金额。如果客户达不到该项信用标准，就不能享受公司按商业信用赋予的各种优惠，或只能享受较低的信用优惠。如果公司执行的信用标准过于严格，可能会降低对符合信用风险标准客户的赊销额，因此会限制公司的销售机会。如果公司执行的信用标准过于宽松，可能会对不符合可接受信用风险标准的客户提供赊销，因此会增加随后还款的风险并增加坏账费用。
(一)信用标准(Credit Standard)是企业判断客户是否有资格享受商业信用所提出的基本条件，客户只有具备该条件才能享受企业提供的商业信用。
