保险许可证是由中国保监会统一设计和印制，授权给经营保险业务的保险控股公司和保险集团公司、保险公司、保险资产管理公司、保险经纪公司、保险公估公司的许可证·实行全国统一编码·保险许可证加盖中国保监会印章方可生效。不经营保险业务、保险资产管理业务的保险控股公司、保险集团公司及其下属子公司无须取得保险许可证。
