会计记录是各种会计账簿、会计凭证、会计报表及发票、合同、签约等其他原始资料的统称。有时也专指账簿记录。会计记录是指对经过会计确认、会计计量的经济业务。采用一定方法记录下来的过程。在会计记录中，对于经过确认而可以进入会计信息系统处理的每项数据，要运用预先设计的账户（账户是会计要素的再分类与具体化）和有关文字及金额，按复式记账规则的要求，在账簿上加以登记。它是会计核算中的一个重要环节，形成为会计核算的一个子系统──复式簿记系统。
