五凉：前凉，后凉，北凉，南凉，西凉，是五胡十六国时代的五个政权。指晋和南朝宋时北方十六国中的前凉、后凉、西凉、北凉、南凉。主要活动在河西走廊和青海河湟地区，后借指甘肃一带。 唐张九龄《益州长史叔置酒宴别序》：“前拜小司马，兼拥旄於五凉。” 唐岑参《题金城临河驿楼》诗：“左戍依重险，高楼见五凉。”唐 岑参《送李别将摄伊吾令充使赴武威，便寄崔员外》：“马疾飞千里，凫飞向五凉。”
