形成温度200-300℃，压力10-5*10Pa，深度2-0.5Km左右。矿床空间上往往与中小型、中深成侵入体有关。但也有一部分矿床与岩浆无明显的成因和空间联系。矿体主要产于大断裂带或热流值异常地区。与岩浆岩关系明显的矿床，矿体产于侵入体的内外接触带中，但多数产于侵入体外围的沉积岩、变质岩或火山岩中。
金矿为浅-中深成矿的中温热液矿床。
