上海音乐厅原名南京大戏院，建于1930年，当年3月26日开业，1950年更名为北京电影院。1959年再更名为上海音乐厅至今。 2019年3月1日至12月31日，上海音乐厅修缮。修缮期间整栋建筑将全部封闭，停止所有对外演出和经营活动。
