The dynamics, human and otherwise, may have been very different in Salt Lake City, but it is interesting that anti-corruption groups like Transparency International (TI) now advise similar action by FIFA. In particular, as late as May 31, TI was calling on FIFA to postpone the election so that an independent investigation could be carried out.
