Believe me, basketball is a game of strength. You need to be able to overpower your opponent on defense, for rebounds, going to the hoop and even fighting for loose balls. Although I work on building certain muscles through weightlifting, I also work on strengthening my whole body through these exercises. And I'm a better athlete because of it.
