The museum's 10 thematic galleries explore traditional aspects of pan-Asian culture, the focus shifting between exquisite, subtly-lit artefacts from Southeast Asia, China, India, Sri Lanka and even Turkey.
Taking into consideration the complexity of museum-reserves and their role in the development of cultural and ecological tourism, during the Thematic Regional Training the following issues were discussed: improvement of cooperation forms between museum-reserves in CIS countries, effective use of museum-reserves and the role of museum-reserves as factors of regional economic development.
