Mr Raab, formerly a lawyer at the Foreign Office, suggests that any member of the public should be able to submitevidence of wrongdoing to the Crown Prosecution Service, which would, if persuaded, then recommend a visa ban or asset freeze.
Under the new bill, Mr Previti might be able to submit direct evidence to the supreme court, whose role is currently limited to ruling on points of law.
