abstract:Also called Zuska's disease (only nonpuerperal case), subareolar abscess is a frequently aseptic inflammation and has been associated with squamous metaplasia of lactiferous ducts.
The involved lactiferous duct, the subareolarabscess were incised and all the encompassing inflammatory tissueswere excised in patients with mammary duct fistula.
