A lot of things were changing, and I wasn't sure quite how I felt about it. Sometimes I wished I could stay sixteen forever, living at home with my mom and brother. Going to the same school, seeing the same friends, driving the same streets. It seemed like a boring existence, but at night, when everything felt a little lonelier, I wasn't sure if boring was worse than leaping headfirst into the unknown.
