“Do you reckon he knows that he's the only one that can stop them?” Annabelle whispered, thinking I couldn't hear her. Stop who? I sat forward and put my hands either side of my head. My body was swaying and I couldn't stop it. I needed air. I stood up and swayed to the left, nearly falling on Annabelle. “Careful, you alright?” Fredrick asked and took hold of my other arm to balance me out. The others exchanged worried glances. “Yeah, just need some air.” I made my way slowly to the back door, swaying the whole time. I heard footsteps behind me and a hand shot out in front of me to open the back door. I murmured my thanks and made my way outside. Once outside I sat on the bottom step and took several deep breaths. Evangeline, who had held the door for me, sat beside me. I pointed my face towards the sky, letting the cool breeze caress my face.
