abstract:Dame Emilie Rose Macaulay, DBE (1 August 1881 – 30 October 1958) was an English writer. She published thirty-five books, mostly novels but also biographies and travel writing.
Macaulay first rose to prominence when he won the West of Scotland Championship in 2006 and reached the fifth round of the Scottish Amateur tournament in 2007.
