Her eyes still fixed on his face, Lari thought about that and froze as something horrible occurred to her. Mel had called and wanted to speak to Cooper. Lari had simply passed the phone to him without pretending to go to his room. Repressing a groan, Lari knew there was no chance Mel wasn't going to mention this the next time they spoke. Knowing Mel, she was absolutely thrilled.
