By combination of anionic binding site, pyrrolic amide, with cationic binding site, crown ether, we have successfully designed and synthesized three new compounds of 4,5-di-(1-H-pyrrole-2-carboxamides)-benzo-crown ether, which may have the potential ability for the binding ion-pair.
