An RAF rescue helicopter from Valley, Anglesey, winched three men from Northumberland from Snowdon's Pyg Track.

Donal McGrath, 63, of Waterford, Irish Republic, was killed on Friday in a fall of almost 700 ft (213m) while walking with a group on the Pyg Track.

Six of the recycled stone pillars marking the main paths up the mountain - Llanberis Path, Rhyd-Ddu Path, Snowdon Ranger Path, Miners Track and the Pyg Track - are being erected over the next few weeks.
