Objective To study the catalytic activity of gallium sulfate in the synthesis of n-butyl propionate. Methods The effects of amount of gallium sulfate, molar ratio of alcohol to acid, reaction time and repeated times of catalyst on the yield of n-butyl propionate were investigated.
