On June 16th, North Korean fishing boats once again moved up to the disputed buffer zone marked by the Northern LimitLine in the Yellow Sea off the west coast but this time they and North Korea's navy kept their distance.
Additional steps can be taken to reinforce the North-South maritime border west of the peninsula, the Northern LimitLine that was the site of both armed clashes in 2010, and the general state of readiness for a range of provocations.
