abstract:Neurobionics is aimed at the objective to substitute failed and damaged parts of the human brain and spinal cord by artificial, implantable systems of information processing. Thereby, the nonlinear aspects of biological information processing provide the theoretical basis for the invention of artificial implantable microsystems.
