abstract:Morrison Academy (Chinese: 馬禮遜美國學校; Wade–Giles: Ma-li-hsün Mei-kuo Hsüeh-hsiao; Hanyu Pinyin: Mălĭxùn Měiguó Xuéxiào; literally: Morrison American School) was established in 1952 and offers a college-preparatory and American-based Christian affiliated education to expatriate children living in Taiwan. Morrison Academy is founded in Taichung, where one of the campuses is located, but additional campuses have been created in Taipei (Bethany) and Kaohsiung (Morrison Academy Kaohsiung).
Although the seasonal equinoxes and solstices seem to divide the year into four equal parts, when you count the days of what we officially call winter, spring, summer and fall, each season is different, says Bing Quock, acting chairman of the Morrison Planetarium at the California Academy of Sciences.
Since then a number of players the club brought through its academy such as Stewart Downing, Lee Cattermole, David Wheater and James Morrison have left, and Hasselbaink believes the club have paid the price for selling their home-grown stars.
