Verse 23, “So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of you mind?” All of that was regarding the church's misplaced emphasis on tongues. Paul continues on with how speaking in tongues is to be used in worship. Allowing for the fact that there may be people who are genuinely gifted by speaking in tongues, I will say that the church has not used the gift properly in worship, probably because the Holy Spirit hasn't granted that sign for us since the whole Bible has been compiled for us.
