While I was just beginning to grasp my own abilities Kate, being two years younger, was just coming into her own. Touch apparently wasn't her thing. Her abilities seemed to just come and go as they pleased. They crashed into existence at the most inopportune times, mashed things about, and then darted away laughing maniacally. Their random occurrences were drastically cutting into our sleep cycle.
