Forbes' ChinaRichList, releasedThursday, shows the numberofChinesebillionaireshas ballooned to 128, from 79 last year, following America's 400, Forbes reported on its website.
Jean-Louis Dumas, a grandson of Emile-Maurice Hermes and the former chief executive officer of Hermes, made the ranks of the Forbes World Billionaireslistfrom the late 1990s through 2007.
Not only is the region producing more well-heeled individuals, with 62 out of the 97 new billionaires on Forbes' latest listof the world's billionaires hailing from Asia, but also traditional private banking in Europe is becoming ever more complicated.
