abstract:Leptosphaeria maculans (anamorph Phoma lingam) is a fungal pathogen of the phylum Ascomycota that is the causal agent of blackleg disease on Brassica crops. Symptoms of blackleg generally include basal stem cankers, small grey lesions on leaves, and root rot.
