abstract:Korean romanization is a system for representing the Korean language using the Latin script. Korea's alphabetic script is called Hangul, and is occasionally written using the combination of, or indepentently from Hanja (Chinese characters).
Similarly, Korean should be able to survive -- nay, thrive in -- whatever discrepancies and inconsistencies its romanization system, or the lack thereof, should throw up.
