A physicist from theUniversityofSurrey, JimAl-Khalili, believes that the currentconsensusiscorrect and that the light-speedbarrieris impossible to surpass.
"The scientists are right to be extremely cautious about interpreting these findings, " said Jim Al-Khalili, a physicist from the University of Surrey, who suggested that a simple error in the measurement is probably the source of all the fuss.
Even if you did not understand a word - and, to be fair, it was aimed at real students of science - it was hard to dislike what Jim Al-Khalili, theoretical physicist and TV presenter describes as "the undiluted geekiness of it".
